Jonas realizes that everyone has been robbed of their humanity. Jonas formulates a plan to save the world.
Jonas faces many challenges on his path to bring back the memory of everyone in the Utopia.
Jonas succeeds in bringing back the memory and feelings. People in the Utopia can now see colors as evident by this image.
Based on Lois Lowry's Newbury medal-winning book The Giver, the movie takes place in a seemingly utopian society and follows the life of Jonas a young adult given the role of Receiver of Memories. Jonas's task is to receive memories from The Giver and help the communities' elders with future decisions. Upon receiving these memories Jonas is flooded with new feelings and seeks to make changes to his community.
